End of July Gadget round-up!


Ahh technology is great. Take advantage and check out some of these new gadgets that are out or coming soon:
ASUS U33Jc-A1 Bamboo series laptops:

Asus' new Bamboo laptops start at $999 and sport Intel Core i3 processors, NVIDIA Optimus enabled graphics, USB 3.0 and Intel's new wireless display technology. They look very similar to the older UL30 series ASUS laptops which were some of the best laptops out there. Very sleak and very sexy. Light weight, long battery life, and with dedicated graphics it can handle anything game or video wise that you throw at it. For those of you who don't know what Intels WiDi is all about, it basically allows you to wireless use your tv as a display for your laptop.....hotness!

Samsung X Series Laptop lineup updated:

Samsung's X series laptops got some new Intel Core i3 ULV processors. These processors are ridiculous when it comes to battery life. Some of these X series laptops are so small they are almost like netbooks. The x180 is sports an 11.2 inch screen and is around 0.95 inches thick and weighs less then 3 ounces, 3GB of memory, and a 320GB hard drive to go along with the new 1.2GHz Core i3.

New Kindle, cheaper and better:

A replacement for the Kindle 2 is here. It adds wifi and has a nice low starting price of $139. The new Kindle is 21 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter than the Kindle 2. It's also got 50% better contrast ratio and better font rendering. On the inside, the memory has been doubled to 4GB which can hold around 3500 books. There is also a wifi + 3G model that debuts at $189.

New Xbox 360 4GB model:

Next month Microsoft is releasing a new Xbox 360 bundle for $199.99 that has 4GB of built in flash memory, a matte finish, and wifi. There also appears to be a bundle coming with the 4GB model, the new  Kinect,and a game for $299.99.
